You know you're a Harry Potter fan when….

(You have Harry Potter Font on hand)
  1. You saved your Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 ticket stubs.
  2. You showcase your books at all times.
  3. You add to your book showcase with other Potter memorabilia (cough... Potter 3D glasses... Cough)
  4. You cheated the system and got more than one pair of Potter 3D glasses.
  5. You have at some point downloaded and repeatedly played the Harry Potter theme song.
  6. You cried and got angry when you thought Harry died in book 7.  In other words, you started to go through 4 of the5 stages of grief (Denial, Anger, bargaining, depression) (no acceptance).
  7. You’ve never looked at owls the same way.
  8. You have at some point attempted to speak parseltongue.
  9. You have based at least one school project on Harry Potter.
  10. You actually can not comprehend people who say ‘Twilight is better’.
  11. You have said “F*ck this, I’m going to Hogwarts!” on multiple occasions.
  12. You’ve given a dangerous amount of serious thought to getting a Harry Potter Tattoo.
  13. You sketch the Deathly Hallows sign in your notebooks.
  14. You can give the spells for the following tasks instantly                                                             A. Need light  B. Need remote control   C. Need to unlock the door  D. Need to levitate a feather.
  15. Your wrist flicked and/or swished at least once when answering #14.                                                                            **** And last but not least*****
  16. In secret you have given serious thought to the matter of Hogwarts' existence.

Coca Cola Please!

I have a very hard time passing up a carton of old fashioned Coca Cola bottles; especially this time of the year. There is something about an ice cold Coke in a bottle, its just...I'm not even sure! Its just.... bliss!
With Christmas comes Coca Cola, that's just the way it is, that's just the way I like it.
Cheers!

The Start of Somthing Old and New: - The Look: Hair 1920s

After watching Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, I fell in love with the past. In particular the golden era of the 1920s. Post World War One, and pre Great Depression and World War Two, it was a golden twilight zone, the eye of the storm. This movie captured the essence of an era and generation of creativity and passion.

I longed for the grace, confidence, and style that the women  and men of this film exuberated. From the cool untouchable knowing of Hemingway to the willing and eager heart of the leading lady. Knowledge and confidence lead all.I finished the movie feeling eager; eager to push for more, eager to follow my heart, and more than anything, eager to learn more about the decade that knew a secrete to life.

I began my exploration of the past by gathering as many images as I could from the 20s and 30s. Pictures of Marlene Dietrich, Clark Gable, Bette Davis, and Jean Harlow helped me gain more insight into their 'look'. As I looked at their pictures, watched or read clips of their work, and poured over their stories, I kept thinking: "They don't make people like this anymore". Hollywood no longer produces fabulous, magnetic, talented actresses and actors, rarely are there books where heart and soul are laid into pages. The era produced unforgettable people who dug their heels into life, took it for what it was, and unashamedly used it. I am going to make it a goal for myself to learn, explore, and discover these interesting times and people, in the hope that I will gain some of the spirit that lead so many of them in amazing directions.                                                                        Hair
I shall start from the top and then work inwards.. I have started to incorporate the 20s into my own look by finger curling my hair. I have now done my hair like this twice, once for a birthday party, and again for a Christmas party. The results were great, and it made me feel differentconfident, and unique. This is the video I used to learn how to create an authentic Finger curl.
